STEAK STREET TACOS

Image
These street tacos are seriously so delicious and easy to make. Although the tacos are simple, they are so flavorful and filling. I got my inspiration of this recipe from the tacos I ate while visiting Barcelona. My best friend and I found this cute little restaurant in a small alley .... and not to be dramatic but their food changed my life. We wanted to visit as many restaurants in the city as possible, but we ended up going to this place at least 3x while we were there for two weeks. Their food (especially their tacos) were so f***ing good, I swear I couldn't get enough. If you ever visit Barcelona, let me know and I'll find the name of this restaurant because you MUST go.   What I love about street tacos is that there are so many variations of it. You can use steak, chicken, or shrimp and add any type of toppings you desire. I kept these tacos very simple, but you can find more recipes on Pinterest or Google for different types.  INGREDIENTS: - corn tortillas - skirt ...

I love this recipe because it is so simple and easy to make, and especially great when serving multiple people. My friends and I had a family dinner night and I was in charge of making an appetizer. This recipe was perfect to make because it feeds a ton of people and all of the ingredients were not expensive to buy.  I highly recommend trying out this recipe, especially if you plan on eating with a group of people! All of my friends enjoyed and loved it and I am sure you will to! INGREDIENTS: - 1 loaf of french bread - 2 roma tomatoes - 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese - Spices:     -  oregano, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder - olive oil  Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. HEALTHY SAMOAS COOKIES

Image
Another week, another healthy treat! I don't know about you guys, but I crave sweets all of the time. These 5 ingredient samoas cookies put a healthy spin on the traditional Girl Scout cookies. They are so easy and simple to make and taste soo good!  INGREDIENTS: - 1 ripe banana - 1/2 cup of coconut flakes  - 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract - 1/4 cup of chocolate chips - 1 tsp of coconut oil  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Smash a ripe banana in a small bowl until most of the lumps are out. Add the coconut flakes and vanilla extract, and then mix it together until it is well combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet (if you don't have parchment paper you can use aluminum paper but make sure to spray it with a cooking spray). Take a scoop of the mixture and place it on the baking sheet and then form it into a circular shape. To make them look like the girl scout samoas cookies, make a hole in the center of each cookie (I just ...

TOMATO PESTO MOZZARELLA CHICKEN

Image
This was a perfect recipe to make for dinner because I had leftover tomatoes and mozzarella that I needed to use before they went bad. It was so easy and simple to make and turned out amazing! I am very picky about eating leftovers, especially chicken, but when I had it for lunch the next day it was still delicious and wasn't dry at all. I didn't have any basil at home and was too lazy to run to the store to get some, but definitely consider using some if you try out this recipe. There's just something about the tomato, mozzarella, and basil combo that I am just obsessed with. Anyone else?  Here is the link of the recipe I got inspiration from if you want to check it out! https://juliasalbum.com/basil-pesto-tomato-mozzarella-chicken-bake/ INGREDIENTS I USED: - 2 chicken breasts - pesto - grape tomatoes - fresh mozzarella cheese - minced garlic - spices:     - salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning  Preheat the oven to 400 F. TOMATO SALAD

Image
Not a fan of lettuce and wanting a delicious salad? Then this is the perfect recipe for you! My mom made this tomato salad for my family growing up and it is one of my favorite recipes! It is so simple and easy to make, plus tasty. It takes less than 10 minutes, so it perfect to make when you are in a hurry. I either make it for lunch or eat it as a side salad with my dinner.  INGREDIENTS: - grape tomatoes - white onion - fresh mozzarella cheese - cucumber - olive oil - salt & pepper Start off by slicing the grape tomatoes in half (I used about a cup of tomatoes), and then dice a 1/4 of a white onion. Cut 1/4 of a cucumber and some fresh mozzarella into small pieces. Add the tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and mozzarella into a bowl. Drizzle a little bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir the salad til the olive oil and seasonings are evenly coated and then it is ready to eat!  Usually when I make this salad, I buy fresh mozzarella balls because they are the perfect size and...
