TOMATO MOZZARELLA BREAD
I love this recipe because it is so simple and easy to make, and especially great when serving multiple people. My friends and I had a family dinner night and I was in charge of making an appetizer. This recipe was perfect to make because it feeds a ton of people and all of the ingredients were not expensive to buy.
I highly recommend trying out this recipe, especially if you plan on eating with a group of people! All of my friends enjoyed and loved it and I am sure you will to!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 loaf of french bread
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Spices:
- oregano, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder
- olive oil
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Slice the loaf of bread down the middle into two pieces. Place the two slices of bread flat onto a baking sheet and then evenly drizzle olive oil on the bread. Next, thinly slice the tomatoes and then place them onto the slices of bread. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on the slices of bread. Season the slices of bread with oregano, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic power. I didn't measure the seasonings, I just eye-bawled it. Place it in the even and cook for about 20 minutes (or until the cheese starts to turn brown).
Enjoy!
